Bombay. My city. I moved here when I was 12 my dad left the Indian Air Force to join Air India as a commercial pilot.
I love this city. Dirty, Polluted, full of beggars but is the city full of promise and is always buzzing with life. I went to middle
and High School here as well as University. My sister Pia and her husband Vikas live there.

I lived with my parents in Lokandwala Complex, an interesting little suburb where people could only afford the apartments if they had tons
of black money, or were Politicians or Film Stars. At one time I had 3 film stars, one director and one producer in my apartment
complex. Most of my friends were in awe when we used to play Cricket, Soccer or Volleyball with them. It was funny to look at their faces.

The politicians changed the name of the city to MUMBAI but most Bombayites still refer to their city as BOMBAY, THE CITY OF DREAMS

This is the Gateway to India, at one of the South-most tips of Bombay. It was built about 600 years back for Prince Albert.

This is the skyline of Bombay. Just lots of tall buildings.

This was one of my favorite places to eat in Bombay. This day I helped him to cook. Then after the meal I refused to pay him... ;)

These are the mountains just outside Bombay. I was riding with my friend Rajiv aka Chicago back to Bombay from Pune on my (t)rusty Yezdi Roadking 350.

Here we are hiking in the Ghats (hills) just out side Bombay.

Some more sub-standard friends.

Trish, Anna, Candy and I stop at a gas station on our way to Ahmedabad from Bombay.

Bombay trains. They carry 9 million people everyday. Yes that was EVERYDAY!
